Welcome Spring!!!!
It’s been a long cold winter and we are all ready for a taste of springtime. The PSSA tests are over and now the fun begins!!! We have 'lots'planned for the remainder of the school year…just take a look!!
Puttin’ On The
Broadway Hits – many 5th graders will show their dancing moves on the
stage April 11th and 12th. Break a Leg!!!
Reading Olympics – we have 3 great teams participating and we wish them the best on April 24th when they meet up with many Bucks County Teams at Neshaminy High School. Go Reading Redskins, Puddin’ Pops and the Heckman Page Turners!!!!!!!
Orientation at the Middle
Schools – students will take a trip over to each school to get an inside view of
what’s ahead for them as 6th graders. Dates to follow~
Marble Maze Races –
Mrs. Hontz and I will combine our science classes for a fun and challenging race
to see who can create a maze that moves a marble in the
slowest
possible way. Get those hammers, glue guns and pvc piping ready!
REWARD, REWARD, REWARD – for those 5th graders that continue to put their best efforts to work while maintaining superior behavior, we have some great REWARDS planned. A favorite is the trip to the mall for a scavenger hunt and lunch. Remember to do your homework and avoid those yellow cards!!
Field Day – this year, 5th graders get a chance to man the events. They monitor the lower grades as they compete and get a chance to be “the teacher”. They will also get to play some games as well so it’s a good time no matter how you look at it!
MOVE – UP DAY is a fine ending to the school year and there will be much more information about this day as we get closer to June.
Finally, I just want to say that this has been a truly wonderful year. Your children have been such fun to be with day in and day out. They are kind, respectful, hard working and well mannered!!
I know they will be very successful in the years to come and your continued support is what makes all the difference in the world!!!
