3rd Grade Book Club

This after school club meets once a month in the library from 3:45 to 4:45 and is open to all third grade students who have read the assigned book for the month and completed a worksheet that is used as a basis for the discussion. The format is a brief refreshment time, then small group discussions and large group activity. The average attendance at this year’s meetings has been 30 students and the club’s coordinators are the third grade teachers, librarian and the reading specialist.
